This week I made my first successful pie crust. The process involved the food processor, instructions from Martha Stewart’s Living magazine, and butter and flour and salt.
I didn’t make a cherry pie, though, even though we had a bunch of cherries. I made tomato tarts. We had guests who brought ice cream and chess pie. Of course, this was an incredible combination of foods.
Jeremy has been pitting these cherries, and I will help too. We will make cherry wine and cherry pie. We have more cherries than we know what to do with.
