I still am completely unsure what we ordered this day in a little tiny shack on a back street on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Nevertheless, it was lobster – first day of lobster season, with lots of spices, beans and rice. Note the delicious fried plantain on the side. To the upper left you can also see the Marie Sharp’s hot sauce bottle. Marie Sharp’s is a Belize product with so many varieties, I can’t name them all.
