Asparagus in Spring Linguine

I just started cooking with the spring items in the garden. We have asparagus coming up, but not a lot, so I’ve chopped it an added it to a green sauce. Using our abundant chives, baby arugula, and fresh peas, I crafted a sauce.

Starting with fresh onion, garlic and shallot, I saute these in olive oil until well cooked. Then, add the asparagus and peas. Finally, when it’s about to be done, I mix this together with the cooked linguine and add arugula and chives at the last minute to preserve their consistency.

Grate fresh parmesan on top, and you’re done! Spring linguine…
